Fernando and Graciela met after Graciela’s best friend, Noor, connected them. After a few days of texting, their first date was on July 26, a Saturday. The date was a fun and romantic day at the beach— but only one hour and some change into the day, Graciela’s sister called to let her know: she was in labor! The date ran short, but the two bonded over the exciting moment on the car ride home- Fernando’s sister was pregnant, too. They texted the rest of the weekend, until they could see each other again.
